Waiting for Valve to release their reservation queue/lottery results is giving me high blood pressure, I swear. The kids have pretty much taken over my old Steam Deck between Little Kitty, Big City and Paw Patrol World. Mama needs another device before they go back to school.

@Timeladygames @HardwareSteam Not yet. Hopefully they're just doing their due diligence and canceling those who haven't bought anything prior to April 2026, tried to reserve more than one unit, etc to weed out the resellers.

@IzzoSaint @Pirat_Nation Exactly. Even good microSD cards cost 3x-5x as much as they did not even two years ago. I'm glad I got another 1.5 TB back when prices were more reasonable.

@SpawnYaardReply How do you figure it's only comparable with the PS4? My Steam Deck can play current gen games (new releases which run on PS5) and Steam Machine is supposed to have better specs than that Deck.

@valvesoftware Kudos for combating all those twat resellers. I hope your folks really are checking the Steam accounts that never made purchases prior to April 2026 and cancel their reservations. If you are, you rock. Same with the limit one per household.

My mom is experiencing Game of Thrones for the first time and it is hilarious. Oh to experience surprises like The Red Wedding for the first time. I'm jealous.

Got a Steam controller. Woooooo. Feel bad for the folks that couldn't, though. Scalpers are ruining everything. Would be nice if you had to prove you're an active Steam user to purchase.

@amailunamv @Steam_Support I was on there at 12:58 refreshing. Had to spam the checkout button at least 50 times but it finally went through. Combination of players and scalpers for sure. Pain in the ass. I hope the scalpers lose money.

@AsuraDragons @internetvin No it is not. I am getting the same error and after 50 tries mine just went through. Keep trying.
