When it comes to Kim So-yeon and Kim Sei, I admit I get easily agitated. Their playbook is very predictable: they strike first, create a media storm, and drive their opponent into extreme emotions. Even as a professional, I feel the psychological strain—so one can only imagine how overwhelming it must be for ordinary people.

They even fabricated claims about a “lost phone”—for example, Kim Sei insisted that Kim Sae-ron’s phone had gone missing. This was entirely predictable. If they truly had evidence, they wouldn’t have lied from the beginning.

Back when he pretended to livestream from New York and falsely claimed he had gone to China, I had already pointed out that his so-called “grooming evidence” chat logs were certainly fake—the sender could not possibly have been Kim Soo-hyun. They manufactured false evidence by editing or swapping profile pictures.

If they were to hand over the phones and the original data, the truth would be exposed immediately. That’s why their only option is to destroy it.

What’s even more absurd is that at the May 7 press conference, Boo Ji-seok claimed, “We have already submitted the materials truthfully.” That was clearly a lie. Now all they can say is, “The phone was lost.” What else is left for them to say?

What disappoints me even more is the attitude of the media.

In an incident of this magnitude, the media could and should have investigated and exposed GSR’s fabrications, thereby clarifying the truth. Yet for months, they have done nothing. Because of fake news, an artist was nearly driven to the brink, while the police and the media both chose collective inaction. That is why such incidents keep repeating.

Relying only on myself, or on the efforts of Kim Soo-hyun’s side, will never be enough to resolve this completely—it is a structural problem. But even so, I will continue to speak out. Even if it feels like “an egg striking a rock,” I will press on.

Especially in the case of Kim Sei, he has inflicted clear criminal harm on me multiple times. I will hold him accountable to the very end, until he receives the punishment he deserves.

On the progress of the investigation into the Kim Soo-hyun–related case

Right now I can clearly say this is entirely a false attack targeting Kim Soo-hyun. There is absolutely no evidence. Kim Soo-hyun has not “fallen,” but certain people are forcibly piecing together fabricated evidence that doesn’t exist, just to try to destroy a young actor who is shining on the world stage.

This isn’t something that can be settled by Kim Se-ui paying 12 billion won. A person’s future is being suppressed to the point where he can’t even raise his voice.

And what’s the only thing being dragged in now? That so-called “Disney is going to sue.” It’s utterly absurd. The truth is very clear: the mastermind behind this nightmare is Kim Se-ui.

In any case, this is truly a tremendous injustice, and I want to make it absolutely clear to everyone: this is a false attack by Kim Se-ui against Kim Soo-hyun. Now I can finally say it.

Earlier, I was more cautious, thinking maybe there really might be some evidence. But up to this point, all those so-called “pieces of evidence” Kim Se-ui keeps talking about simply do not exist. I’ll also go through these points one by one with you all.

So far, Kim Soo-hyun and Gold Medalist have been sued by six companies, with total damages claims exceeding ₩10 billion since the Kim Sae-ron scandal broke.
•Cuckoo Electronics: ₩850 million
•Cuckoo Electronics + Cuckoo Homesys + Cuckoo International Berhad: ₩2.029 billion
•Trendmaker: ₩501 million
•Frombio: ₩3.96 billion
•Clasis: ₩3 billion
Together, these cases amount to ₩10.339 billion in damages claims.

Among them, the civil suit filed by Frombio will be the first to go to trial. According to reports, the Suwon District Court’s Civil Division 14 has scheduled the first hearing for August 20.
