Understanding that 2026 isn't 2025, it's important to get a bit of perspective on which teams were / were not meaningful competition for top teams.
FEI rankings for each from 2025:
East Carolina (played Bama) - 55th
Boise State (played Oregon) - 63rd
Western Michigan (played Michigan) - 71st
Texas State (played Texas) - 82nd
Fresno State (played USC) - 85th
Stanford (played Miami) - 88th
Marshall (played Penn State) - 93rd
Oregon State (played Houston) - 118th
Ball State (played Ohio State) - 132nd
Alabama thumping East Carolina is the most impressive thing no one is talking about. They had an SEC caliber front last year and may again this year.
Oregon struggling with Boise State should be just as alarming as Michigan with Western Michigan (moreso given Oregon's ranking).
Miami is getting too much hype for the Stanford game, given that Stanford is quite possibly (even likely) a worse team than, say, Texas State.
In 2020 the most publicized Calvin Klein model in America was a grotesque, obese black woman. In 2026 Sadie Sink is wagging her aristocratic Gallic ass towards the camera.
America's soul is healing. It's not hard to see if you stop taking black pill suppositories.
@theballisorange They also choke Greek life to death. Why would you go to Siberia for shit football, has been basketball, shit Greek life and on top of that pay 90k a year. All of that to get the same job as your buddy who goes to a local state school, too
