❤️💯 I highly recommend reading the amazing book by Peter Wohlleben
“The Hidden Life of Trees”
https://t.co/14XCHesLZL
In the 1990s, Canadian ecologist Suzanne Simard made a groundbreaking discovery that challenged everything we thought we knew about how forests work. While studying managed forests in British Columbia, she noticed something puzzling: when birch trees were removed to promote the growth of valuable Douglas firs, the firs did not flourish as expected, they actually struggled and grew more slowly.
Determined to understand why, Simard traced the movement of nutrients using radioactive carbon isotopes. What she found was astonishing. Trees were actively sharing resources through vast underground fungal networks known as mycorrhizae. These delicate, thread-like fungi connect the roots of different trees across the forest floor, forming a complex web that allows the exchange of carbon, water, nutrients, and even chemical signals, sometimes between entirely different species.
She discovered that older, larger trees often serve as central "hubs" or "mother trees," supporting younger saplings by redistributing vital resources and helping the entire ecosystem remain resilient. When these key trees are removed, the underground network weakens, and the health of the remaining forest declines.
Simard’s research overturned the traditional Darwinian view of forests as battlegrounds of ruthless competition. Instead, she revealed a far more sophisticated reality: forests operate as highly cooperative systems where trees communicate, support one another, and even warn neighboring trees about threats like drought, disease, or insect attacks.
What appears to the human eye as a silent, still forest is, in truth, a vibrant, interconnected living network, built not on isolation and rivalry, but on deep connection and mutual aid.
@moneytalkstweet How is it possible to have created a culture so toxic to our BC medical service PROVIDERS ?!
I am biased, experiencing years of unrelenting now suspected peripheral neuropathy, making my life experiences very limited, and I must wait AT LEAST 1 😩 year to see a neurologist.
ConCarney’s financial shenanigans know no bounds.
$733 in Net Borrowing includes more “loans” to Crown Corps being recorded as Assets💰of the so-called ‘Capital’ Spending budget - that may NEVER BE REPAID. 😳
🤔 Is this not accounting fraud?
BREAKING NEWS
The Parliamentary Budget Officer warns of a looming MEGA-DEFICIT risk.
The Liberals are labelling over $141 BILLION of government loans to Crown corporations as "assets".
They expect that money back.
But if repayment never comes, these loans could be written off as a loss and added to the deficit.
Take for instance Canada Post.
The Liberals handed Canada Post over $2 BILLION in "repayable" funding, yet it lost over $1.5 BILLION last year and hasn’t turned a profit for years.
Repayable with what?!
Is this why Mark Carney is eager to create so many new Crown corporations?
To borrow more money, count the loans as assets, and make the deficit look smaller while taxpayers carry all the risk?
More to come.
@TaviCosta 😖 Unfollowed
@mzerabill Capital Gains are taxable at 50% of the total capital gain precisely to compensate for their longer term nature.
The problem is that in more recent years the rate of asset price inflation has increased dramatically with the increase in the money supply.
@dampedspring Thank you! You are correct, reading this piece was time very well spent. Lots of food for thought, especially for this padawan. 🤓
Globalists … “If Putin takes over Ukraine, Europe will be next.”
France today 👇 literally on fire and it’s not from Russia.
@ronmortgageguy Except this “tool” is completely useless under the current circumstances.
Yes, that’s a double double entendre. 😉
“Canada Strong” eh ? 🤢
Carney is allowing his cronies in the UK to buy and take over Newfoundlands Oil Fields. The Canadian federal government has the full legislative authority to block or stop the sale of Suncor Energy Inc to offshore foreign interests but then that's the only reason Carney is PM to sell off Canada's energy reserves to the EU, China and the UK.

@ThierryBorgeat So the goods that were produced in China became cheaper while all the services performed in the U.S, became more expensive. This all sounds very familiar…

I screamed "THIS" loudly, clearly, repeatedly, since early 2025 when Cheng Li-wun (highly educated in the West, a total rock-star in her own right with blood lines back to pre-1949 and the Communist revolution) was elected the new leader of the Kuomintang, Taiwan's opposition party. She then spearheaded the campaign in Taiwanese Parliament to BLOCK Trump's $14 billion military aid package.
Then she made statements OPENING THE DOOR FOR "THIS" (as I reported MONTHS AGO in my GMSR). Her comments were SPECIFIC, stating that Taiwan and China share the same bloodlines, worship the same deity, "speak" the same language, and share a long singular history.
She went on to meet Xi in Shanghai, after which I said it was a DONE DEAL, over time reunification will commence, and the US will stand down.
"THIS" tied DIRECTLY to something else I said repeatedly LAST YEAR, also written in my GMSR, wherein I envisioned an unspoken DEAL between Xi and Trump, that the US "gets" Venezuela with no push-back from Xi, and Taiwan goes to China, with little push-back from Trump.
Few people wanted to hear it, most people shrugged it off as noise ... except a few key colleagues, people like me who think outside the box and envision possible future events without personal bias, I am also on the record saying all of this, through the plethora of "guest spots/interviews" I do with bloggers, podcasters, the media).
My goal, at this point in my time here in this dimension, is to HELP as MANY people as I can, with the truth, with the facts, the data, math, numbers that often refutes the broadly and blindly "accepted" macro, monetary, fundamental, economic, market-driven, socio-economic, and geo-political "narratives"
My claims are well-documented ... @PeterGrandich joined the chorus and has often shared my work, and carried the torch, as have many of the others with whom I publicly share my insights, such as
--- Mike Maharrey and the Gleason brothers who run @MoneyMetals
--- @ASchectman (one of the most knowledgeable in and well-spoken people in this industry) via @MilesFranklinCo )
@FinancialSense_ and the man himself, @JamesJPuplava via the Financial Sense Newshour.

The @stocktradernet Stock Trader Network with the incomparable team of @Spus @TripleDTrader and Brent Slava
@moneytalkstweet , formerly "Money Talks" aired on the Corus radio network, once THE MOST listened to non-sports talk radio show in all of Canada, and the man himself, Michael Campbell (host of the World Outlook Conference every year in Vancouver, from which have come some of my most prescient market calls).
Of course MY CLIENTS KNOW, except they don't want YOU to KNOW, as I have found that competition trumps sharing in this industry ... having an "edge" that others don't is virtually PRICELESS, which is why Citadel and JP Morgan are two of my biggest clients, along with others with whom I have signed non-disclosure agreements.
THIS is why @RaoulGMI bestowed upon me the moniker of ... "The Best Kept Secret on Wall Street" ... and is the reason he was gracious enough to support me with my own "show" on Real Vision TV, "Weldon Uncensored" for four years (2016-2019)
THIS is why the legendary James Grant testified on the cover of my 2006 book "Gold Trading Boot Camp" ...
... "if you speculate, you MUST read Weldon FIRST"
THIS is why YOU might consider reading Weldon ... email me to receive the GMSR for the REST of October, on a COMPLIMENTARY "trial" basis. NO, I do NOT ask for any credit-card numbers (not until you decide to subscribe, LOL). Nor do I have ANY marketing/PR people, never have ... I don't have time to make futile sales (phone) calls, and we will never bomb you with endless post-trial emails,
Homey don't play that game !!!
Come with me, let me help you think outside the box, and get on board with the RESEARCH THAT PAYS FOR ITSELF, with specific recommendations in Stock Indexes, Fixed-Income, Precious and Industrial Metals, Petroleum and Alternative Energy, Agricultural and Industrial Commodities, replete with SPECIFIC risk-management overlay and stop-loss order suggestions.

The one already getting a taxpayer funded SUBSIDY for those spaces his family uses ?
😳 Does anyone else see the gaping hole in this pathetic excuse ?!!!?
@bicepcurl Beware the fallacy of averages:
Women earn 82 cents for every dollar men earn ‘on average’, therefore every woman is underpaid relative to every comparable man.
😳😮
File this under -"no sign that the majority of Cdns care"
Food Banks Canada says in 2025 (the last year for which data is available), food banks across the country saw nearly 2.2 million visits each month.
That is double the monthly usage recorded six years ago.

@PunIhor You are misinformed.

@GadSaad Canada has had its social identity destroyed.
It’s a fucking unfathomable tragedy !
Just another day in ConCarney’s Lieberal government. 😮😡
BREAKING
Canadians are now bankrolling Canada Health Infoway's courtroom brawl with its former CEO to bury the Liberals' $300 million PrescribeIT scandal.
Infoway's court filing reveals that former CEO Michael Green collected MORE THAN half a MILLION dollars in performance bonuses within four years while PrescribeIT failed on every metric.
This is on top of his annual "base" salary of $600,000+, a car allowance, and more benefits.
For years, Infoway’s board of directors rated Mr. Green's performance as "exceeds" and "thriving" while $300 million was wasted on the PrescribeIT program that nobody used.
Mark Carney's health minister pretends that there is nothing to see, but her very-own senior official has a seat on the Infoway board.
The Liberal health minister has REFUSED to answer whether her top official voted in favour of funding massive PrescribeIT bonuses.
This is the most expensive scandal of Mark Carney's government and the Liberals are doing everything in their power to make it disappear.
More to come.
