@MaxduPreez According to Googleโs mobility tracker the Western Cape is actually doing better than any other province to adhere to lockdown and still the numbers rise. https://t.co/y2XEBUMYQ5
Please email us at [email protected] if you can point us to data for any other countries or cities on all-cause mortality (total numbers of deaths from all causes), preferably broken down by week or day, and running right up to and including recent weeks ๐
@RestZhoya@ferialhaffajee No timeframe is given, it will be reassessed on a continuous basis. But keeping in mind that it takes about 2 weeks to see the effect of any change once a month might be a good estimate.
@gfreeman2012 @clyn333 The first 3 meetings I hosted last week did not cut off but since then they have cut me at 40 minutes. So I just oaid for the month, it is more than worth it and you can easily cancel it.
@SnezzyNhlapo@Diablo69_777@DrZweliMkhize Virusses normally spread exponentially, what we have is linear growth, linear growth is much better than anyone expected. It is more than solid.
@berkogal@jburnmurdoch Schools are a very big bubble, but reading this already made me think of 3-4 things we can realistically do to divide our school into smaller bubbles. We wonโt reach the ideal but we can realistically severely limit interactions within the school.
@DingisVusi@HealthZA You shouldnโt take your mask of unless you can immediately wash your hands (and mask) properly with soap and water. So yes I drive with my mask and only take it off when I can savely do so at home.
@TashJoeZA @ElijahMhlanga It is merely a proposal that the department are considering. Working doc was circulated to some principals to identify possible issues with a phased reopening. Nothing has been decided or at least communicated. And it is depended on lockdown ending 30 April.
@SaintsMaths For all if these statements I feel like I need a scale of 1 to 10. Before I read the book I agreed with most (except the one about old exam papers) but @mrbartonmaths made me question why I believed that.
@SaintsMaths I donโt agree with everything in this book, but I still found it to be the most useful, practical and challenging book about teaching maths that I ever read. All maths teachers should read it at some point.
@PieterBergh You are right of course but add to that that the average tickets for interskole is R70 and you get 4 great matches and a whole show around it. It is literally a whole day out for the family.
