@alecrobbins Big cities in the states are so expensive. It's crazy to me how our 4 bed 2 bath apt with an ocean view has a cheaper total rent than most ppls rent when split up. I make a modest ~30k a year, but everything is so much cheaper in korea i still save quite a bit.

@alecrobbins counting money i have in my security deposit (in SK the deposit is much bigger around 5k to 20k): i have maybe 30K usd total around now. Rent is about 800 a month but split 4 ways. Utilities vary but around 300-400 per month (split in 4s as well).
