VTs are the architects of a skilled J&K. While the Delhi Government has set a brilliant precedent by increasing salaries of VTs to ₹38,100, we believe J&K will lead the way too.
High-quality vocational education deserves high-value recognition.
Empower VTs, Empower Students.
The Israeli state is committing genocide. It has murdered over 60,000 people, 18,430 of whom were children.
It has starved hundreds to death including many children and is threatening to starve millions.
Enabling these crimes by silence and inaction is a crime in itself.
It is shameful that the Indian Government stands silent as Israel unleashes this devastation on the people of Palestine.
Following positive signs from the government, peaceful protests have been temporarily paused. However, our commitment to the cause remains steadfast.
Vocational Teachers of J&K will rejoin schools up to 13th April under a PEN DOWN STRIKE, standing strong in our demand for justice and fairness.
We urge @JmuKmrPolice to release our detained colleagues in the Kashmir Division and respect our democratic right to protest. These teachers shape the future, let them return to classrooms, not custody. Stop the detentions. Let their voices be heard. @CM_JnK@diprjk@DivComKash@BaramullaPolice@DCBaramulla@dcbandipora@AnantnagPolice@bandiporapolice@BudgamPolice@ShopianPolice@policekulgam@ssppul@SrinagarPolice@Gbl_Police@KupwaraCops

Vocational trainers have been facing hardships for the past nine years. The demands outlined in the attached letter are genuine & must be addressed. The govt. should take positive steps to resolve their issues without further delay.@JKVTWA@CM_JnK@sakinaitoo@OmarAbdullah
On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, vocational trainers took to the streets in protest, forsaking celebrations with their families. Their demand: a long-overdue increase in wages. Despite assurances from the government, the trainers claim that verbal promises have not translated into tangible action. They're seeking a written commitment, emphasizing that on-ground reality contradicts the government's assurances. The trainers, who have been patiently awaiting resolution, are now appealing to the government to address their grievances and provide a concrete solution.

Thousands of vocational trainers under @JKSamagraEdu, planning to protest on Eid, deserve assurance and direct engagement to avoid the protest. Exploited through third-party contracts, the government must reach out ahead of Eid to end this insecurity. @CM_JnK@sakinaitoo must assure them to spend Eid with their families.
While the world celebrates #Eid with joy, vocational trainers are facing harassment and threats from Indus Edutrain (#VTP). Instead of sharing in the festive spirit, they are enduring mental distress.
We urge the Honorable Ministry of Education @sakinaitoo Ma’am and the Worthy SPD of Samagra Shiksha @JKSamagra to put an end to this unjust and inhumane treatment.
The Honorable Prime Minister @narendramodi and Chief Minister @OmarAbdullah@CM_JnK have strictly denounced harassment of women, yet #IndusEdutrain @indusedutrain(#VTP) is causing severe mental strain to female vocational trainers—violating the spirit of #BetiBachaoBetiPadhao.
The real stakeholders in evaluating vocational trainers are the concerned school principals, not the #VTPs @indusedutrain.
We demand swift and stern action against these persistent harassers (#VTPs).
Thousands of J&K Vocational Trainers under @JKSamagra are being exploited by private firms, earning meager wages with no job security. The Govt. must remove these firms, ensure direct engagement, fair compensation and job security through regularization.

Promises Made, Promises Kept
The National Conference @JKNC_ has taken a commendable step towards fulfilling its election commitments:
✅ Committee constituted to frame the legal roadmap for daily wagers & casual labourers.
✅ Regularisation of ReK after 7 years of service.
We, Vocational Trainers, wholeheartedly welcome these decisions. Now, we eagerly await the next crucial announcement justice for vocational trainers.
As promised by our Hon’ble CM @OmarAbdullah@CM_JnK before elections, we trust that our decade-long struggle will soon bear fruit, ensuring an end to exploitation and a special job policy for vocational trainers.@sakinaitoo@nasirsogami

The Fraternity of Vocational Trainers (VTs) sincerely thanks the outgoing State Project Director @JKSamagra for submitting our report to the Government of J&K with positive remarks. This marks a significant step towards addressing the concerns of VTs who have been diligently serving in the education department for the past ten years.
We remain hopeful that the government will act swiftly on this report & implement concrete welfare measures for Vocational Trainers. Our dedication to shaping young minds deserves recognition, respect, & stability.
Together, we stand for a better future. We look forward to a positive resolution that values our contributions. @OmarAbdullah@CM_JnK@sakinaitoo@nasirsogami@JKNC_@shantmanu3
We extend our sincere congratulations & best wishes to Worthy SPD @JKSamagra on his new assignment.
At the same time, we respectfully urge Director Sir to demonstrate decisive leadership in addressing the challenges faced by vocational trainers. We request the immediate issuance of orders for the approved salary hike, along with arrears, as sanctioned in the PAB. Additionally, we seek the submission of a detailed report to the government before he assumes his new post.
Furthermore, we wish to remind our esteemed Director @JKSamagra Shri Rakesh Magotra that during our physical meeting on January 29, 2025, we were assured that the file report would be forwarded promptly. We were also advised to postpone our protest with the assurance that our demands would be addressed through dialogue. We trust that before leaving office, Director Sir will fulfill his commitment, review our concerns, & sign off on the file as promised.
Taking these steps is crucial to alleviating the hardships endured by vocational trainers in the UT.
