@philbak1 Don't do this. Either check out on the tv (depends on the hotel) or the front desk and get your receipt. Last thing you want to do is spend 30 minutes on the phone with some hotel manager because the staff helped themselves to a Heineken on your dime.
@zerohedge@ZssBecker How about we wait til the all of the 90 day pauses are over and actual deals are negotiated before we start getting snarky.
Crazy idea, I know.
TRUMP DROPS THE HAMMER ON BIG PHARMA
🇺🇸 Exec Order forcing US drug prices to match lowest globally
-30%-80% immediate cuts claimed
-"Most Favored Nation" pricing model activated
-US to stop overpaying for same drugs sold cheaper abroad
-Pharma margins? Under attack
-Insurance, Medicare? Massive win
This isn’t a pharma deal. It’s a deglobalized pricing war.
Expect Pharma CEOs to scramble. Margin compression. M&A in generics/biosims.
Winners: Insurers, PBMs
Losers: Big Pharma, Global pricing stability
This is policy as a wrecking ball.

Here's $AMC's and $CNK's 2025 Q1 balance sheet comparison. Which company is in better shape? I think it's clear (if you have a brain).

@RenStatesman@GuyTalksFinance@PerryWelch16 You can also borrow against your stock portfolio as well. The portfolio value varies by broker, but it is certainly an option with stocks as well.
There’s a time to be contrarian, and a time to go with the trend
The way I look at it now, this is a market of going with the trend, especially when flows support it
There will be dips, and sell-offs, but they’re buyable when high-beta stocks show you risk-on is alive and well
I wonder if Amazon will also explain to the American public why its profit margin must increase every single year and how much Jeff Bezos's $500 million wedding will cost each customer.
They are playing a dangerous political game.
Most market participants do not understand economics, financials, valuations and alike...
Most do not understand tariffs, not mentioning their impact.
The impact of the tariffs will start to show soon as shipments take time to arrive at US ports.
The truly felt impact, not just fear, will start to be felt by main street over the next weeks and with it the realization what they might have supported is actually going to push the economy into a slowdown.
My best case is a sideways market that digest multiples into year end with pockets of outperformances for the businesses profiting from the shift in supply chains, even on a relative basis.
