I disagree.

The world me and this individual were born into is not the same world we currently live in. Countries are decolonising themselves from pre world war 2 based European rule. Majority of world populations have an education curriculum which not incentivise English anymore as they’ve understood it is not a necessity, although it was for their grandparents. Visit China, Turkey, Egypt, Indonesia and countless other countries; they do not speak English. English will not matter as much as you think it will in another 20 years.
