Being a KOL is easy

You can simply pretend to have clout

Buy your audience and scam without taking any damage

But being a content creator is NOT

A content creator looks for information, edits, studies, records, records again, repeats, writes and publishes

And does that for months until people (and especially the damn algorithm) start to show a minimum of interest

I spent years without making money or getting views

It���s easy to say KOLs have it easy, because most of them are scammers

But being part of that 1% that is actually worth it

being a real creator

One solid partnership a month pays more than chasing millions of views for monetisation.

As a creator, optimising for X payouts is a mistake, especially if it costs you your niche audience. Views don’t equal value.

As a creator on CT, you always have to adapt.

First they killed InfoFi, now X paychecks are uncertain.

I think all of this will lead to new ways for creators to monetize.

Not sure what it will look like yet, but crypto still offers a lot of potential avenues for it.

Starting Thursday, we'll be updating our revenue sharing incentives to better reward the content we want on X:

We will be giving more weight to impressions from your home region—to encourage content that resonates with people in your country, in neighboring countries and people who speak your language.

While we appreciate everyone's opinion on American politics, we hope this will disincentivize gaming the attention of US or Japanese accounts and instead, drive diverse conversations on the platform.

We invite creators to start building an audience locally. X will be a much richer community when there's relevant posts for people in all parts of the world.
