If your students are extra distracted right now, check out this idea from letmeknowhowitgoes on IG! 💡
“Played around with a little something today.
Yesterday, I was talking to teachers about how we might help students to notice when they are distracted and name the distraction as a way to mindfully pivot. I played around with this student-facing chart today.
It could be reworked for many great levels but you get the idea. I imagine a few things …. 1. Students have this next to them and rally or put a chip on a particular area when they catch themselves off task. 2. Teachers could use it as a tool, almost like a menu, showing it to students when they seem off-task, so they can check the behaviors.”
