Got the privilege to be honored last night as an MEC star educator. I was chosen by Grayson Mealy. Grayson excels not only in his athletics but academics and he will continue to have success because he works hard, is disciplined and is always consistent in his work!
Great example of the opportunities for our students at @WesDelSchools & @WDElementary …had the opportunity and privilege to present at the annual Career Day about my job as a S&C coach, what led me to this profession, and my WHY! Kids got to lift some weights at the end as well

Goes for all sports! Be smart about it… lift heavy, keep the volume a little lower so you don’t get too beat up… there’s no reason you can’t be stronger going into post season than you were at the start of season!!
@SquatUniversity 20x10 back squats… start at 10RM and drop 5-10lbs each set… unfortunately figured out if I did my last 10 sets at 100kg it would put me at 50,000lbs of volume for the workout… was unbelievably sore for 6 days
2024 book list… didn’t get through as many as past years, but I took on a few books that were much longer and much more in depth than I usually do… I used to be all about wanting to read more each year, but I think as long as I’m reading, I’m continually learning and growing
A lot of times as a coach you always wonder what kind of impact you make on your athletes… well yesterday I walked into the weightroom to see one of my students wearing an Austin 3:16 t shirt blasting Creed on the speakers… needless to say it was a proud moment
