Border re-opening hasn't given us rejoice. Those with expired BVB are still stuck overseas. Visa processing times have blown out and there's no provision of priority processing for expired BVB holders either. Extend the validity period for expired BVB holders.

So Tourists can travel to Australia, but someone on expired Bridging B visa - who has lived in Australia for 7 years and is waiting for their PR visa to be granted, is still not allowed to return. It is beyond belief that the Government has allowed such a situation to occur.

@yandellwill1 @ausgov Hi Will, today's announcement includes all fully-vaccinated visa holders. Till February 21, current arrangements is valid. So the list of eligible visa holders will remain there.
