The issue with GPT-5 in a nutshell is that unless you pay for model switching & know to use GPT-5 Thinking or Pro, when you ask “GPT-5” you sometimes get the best available AI & sometimes get one of the worst AIs available and it might even switch within a single conversation.

Today we're excited to introduce Devin, the first AI software engineer.
Devin is the new state-of-the-art on the SWE-Bench coding benchmark, has successfully passed practical engineering interviews from leading AI companies, and has even completed real jobs on Upwork.
Devin is an autonomous agent that solves engineering tasks through the use of its own shell, code editor, and web browser.
When evaluated on the SWE-Bench benchmark, which asks an AI to resolve GitHub issues found in real-world open-source projects, Devin correctly resolves 13.86% of the issues unassisted, far exceeding the previous state-of-the-art model performance of 1.96% unassisted and 4.80% assisted.
Check out what Devin can do in the thread below.
"That's the trouble with The Future. It's awfully difficult to predict when it'll actually arrive.. But we just might not need as many human programmers pounding code with their little meat fingers." https://t.co/DqSWcaoNWD
New #Sustainability feature in #MSDyn365BC will be shipped with a set of reports featuring default Excel layouts. While you can still change the layout, we believe that this is the better option. We would love to hear your thoughts on this new approach about reports’ layouts.
Most tech built in the last 2 years will be obsolete with gpt5 release
Pipelines, code bases, open source models, inference, agents, etc.
we’ll have to rethink everything

Gemini 1.5 pro is STILL under hyped
I uploaded an entire codebase directly from github, AND all of the issues (@vercel ai sdk,)
Not only was it able to understand the entire codebase, it identified the most urgent issue, and IMPLEMENTED a fix.
This changes everything
