Well, Premier, for over a year, Palestinian children and their families have endured Israel’s relentless and ongoing genocide – which has been called a ‘war on children’ – robbing them of any of the joy or peace that Australians claim to care so much about. Australia is complicit – this country arms Israel.

And what of the children of Gaza?

- 70% of Palestinians killed by Israel are women and children, the youngest just one day old.
- Israel’s genocide in Gaza has created the largest cohort of child amputees in history.
- Israel has destroyed the foundations of life in Gaza to ensure that no child has been able to attend school in 404 days.
– Israel has just passed laws allowing Palestinian children under the age of 14 to be arrested and imprisoned – including on life sentences – in closed prison facilities.

It’s our duty to protest until Australia uses all political and economic tools to end this genocide.
