After this, we had @nilderef talk about his implementation of Raft in rust + how the raft protocol works in general. We also saw a very cool live demo of leader election and simulated failures, which was a very cool demonstration of fault tolerance in real life.
Had the opportunity to present an old project of mine (a raft implementation in rust) at @BengaluruSys as a lightning talk this weekend at the Razorpay Office. Briefly discussed the raft consensus algorithm, my implementation & challenges followed by a short demo.
Clocking out just before Christmas. Been writing a raft implementation over the past few weeks, decent progress so far :) https://t.co/tJi9hbKqV6
p.s. ignore the messy logging
@Delta2315@anirudh_sudhir@polarhive@AcmPesu This project is currently on the back burner as we're engaged with college and other projects. However, contributions are always welcome! Feel free to reach out to any of us
My teammates, Adhesh Athrey, @anirudh_sudhir, @polarhive, and I presented our project Anna, a static site generator, at the 76th Go Bangalore meet.
This project was part of the AIEP program conducted by @AcmPesu.
@uds5501@anirudh_sudhir@polarhive@AcmPesu Unfortunately, we only have the slides as the presentation wasn't recorded, please feel free to reach out to us for any queries or feedback
Slides were made with the go present tool https://t.co/wtYL58GR1s
@mustafamohsen_@SamSpencerRS@RBR_Daily Yeah but sadly if f1 were to race there, changes would have to be made to the track to go with their safety regs. The tracks are good as it is but just not for f1
