This is me right now. Two years ago I was shot during the June 25 Gen Z protests. I've been living with a spinal cord injury since, and I self-catheterize because of neurogenic bladder.

That led to recurring UTIs and sepsis. Today I successfully underwent surgery at Emory Hospital Nairobi to remove a bladder stone at my left vesico-ureteric junction (5x7mm). The fragments were removed. I'm recovering now with some pain and bleeding, which the doctors say is normal.

@VOCALAfrica_ helped me get here, and I'm grateful. But I still need medication, physiotherapy and follow-up care. I still haven't received any government compensation.
I'm sharing this because I need help for what comes next. Any support means everything. 🙏🏽

When we build, we should build like the Egyptians did ,grand, timeless and historic. We should create landmarks that generations will admire. If we are going to replace colonial-era buildings, then what we build should be far better, not merely newer.

This is my vision for a new Supreme Court and Judiciary Headquarters for Kenya: a national landmark with 47 Steps of Justice, representing each of our 47 counties; a permanent Inauguration Square where presidents are sworn into office with the dignity such an occasion deserves, instead of using a football stadium .A grand ceremonial boulevard that functions as a normal city street every day but transforms into a public gathering space during presidential inaugurations and other national ceremonies.

To achieve something like this, we have to think beyond the limits of the current CBD. Nairobi deserves a second, master-planned central business district built where land is still available. Around this new Judiciary precinct, I would expect a modern CBD to emerge naturally, with the Supreme Court plaza becoming Kenya's Citizens' Square ,a place where the nation gathers to celebrate, commemorate and witness the peaceful transfer of power under the Constitution.
