@ADavidHaleJoint I definitely wouldn't say Dabo is against paying players. He's all about "using the resources at Clemson and keeping everything tight...".
@Matt_Fortuna Interesting data. Bottom line: there's not a ton of differentiation between Tennessee, Penn State, USC, Alabama, Notre Dame and Michigan. All of have them down cycles (Tennessee and Texas currently, Bama and PSU in late 90s/early 2000s. People have short memories.
@AriWasserman I think we can all agree that any "vetting process" managed by Gene Smith and Urban Meyer, which was previously referenced to support Schiano's sterling character, is flawed and unreliable. At very best.
@DanWolken Good point. The number of national media members who are completely clueless is quite high. There are several members who are so busy and uninformed that they would have you believe Tennessee is a terrible job and Greg Schiano is the best the program could ever hope for...
@rcjakes@DanWolken@DanWolken's opinion is that Tenn is and always has been a middling program and should be thankful for ANY coach that is interested. Essentially, we have no business having expectations of any sort.
@theMMQB@AlbertBreer Since Schiano is such a hot commodity and all other fanbases are far more rational about things like statements given under oath, I'm sure he'll have TONS of other offers from top programs soon. Right?
@wesrucker247 You’re being emotional. U.S. doesn’t have the same resources as the big guns. Fans are just impatient and irrational. Coach needs more time.
