BREAKING | 🇵🇱🇺🇦🇷🇺‼️ Poland has raised the readiness of its air forces as the military takes additional precautionary measures to protect Polish airspace amid the threat of Russian strikes against neighboring Ukraine.

Poland’s Armed Forces Operational Command says the necessary forces and assets have been activated under established procedures, while ground-based air-defense systems and radar reconnaissance assets have also been placed at heightened readiness. The measures are described as preventive, with particular attention focused on areas bordering Ukrainian regions exposed to Russian attacks.

The heightened posture comes as Poland’s defense minister postponed a planned Pentagon visit following an urgent request from the U.S. side. Poland has not publicly stated that Washington warned of an imminent Russian attack on Polish territory, so linking the two developments directly remains speculative. However, the combination of heightened military readiness and intensified allied security consultations reflects the increasingly tense security environment along NATO’s eastern flank.
