@bhartzer There's also the new thing with TLDs doing firesales for new registrations, but crazy prices on renewals. (Gandi has .online for $3.75, but $125 for a renewal).
@MikeBlazerX Google needs to get their act together and stop ranking these completely unrelated pages.
Why pay parasite sites like outlookindia, when you can just do parasite hacking like this.
This is Google in incentivising bad behaviour.
Today we released the November 2024 core update. We'll add it to our ranking release history page in the near future and update when the rollout is complete. For more on core updates:

@fabioricotta @tobias_willmann I read that as: "The robots.txt itself file not being available."
And not as "the URL was not available as robots.txt blocked it".
@rustybrick@bngsrc@deeprana_99@DarthNik I applaud the effort that they are working on improving it. I feel like there's enough community feedback out there that highlights it's not about UI, but about what data we have access to. That's the main thing that would make the tool better.
@lilyraynyc Literally Danny said he sat with an engineer team with examples of people in the room and said why aren't they showing up and they did their "debugging process" and couldn't figure it out.
the robots are winning.
@darth_na My guess is that this algorithm change is meant to address that reputation abuse is possible in the first place. The abuse algorithm is a different beast which when unleashed and probably have the same kind of power as HCU to wipe people of the map.
@lilyraynyc It's not for the users, but for the next earnings call, to somehow prove that the money they are burning on AI is actually making it into product.
@Charles_SEO@parasiteseocom To me this feel like they have algorithmic ready, but had to remove manual penality before algorithmic can properly be applied.
@eastdakota@Cloudflare A standalone identity service that allows me to log in everywhere. Allow for persistent anonymous ids on the websites I log into.
@joachimnicolas@AspirePressOrg Plugins can store stuff in the db (transient and object cache), but nothing by default to avoid a full page build on every request.
Plugins do fill this gap, but more should be done by core.
@charlyjl @karks88 I think you should link to those records so more people are aware how to find them, also make sure that https://t.co/COmUXLZs9P has a copy of those links too.
@Charles_SEO I know how to try and use Claude and ChatGPT without a developer account. No clue what even the adress to test Gemini is. Dev onboarding was also convoluted.
