Rick Chow shot someone’s car up in 2015 over boiled peanuts & some bud lights. then he shot someone in 2018 over $6.49 oven cleaner. Like what are we even talking about? He’s a fucking maniac #Justice4CyrusBelton
Alicia* started having severe abdominal pain, cramping, and bleeding in ICE custody, per @ACLU. Medical staff performed painful, invasive procedures and gave her meds without explanation or consent. She was told she had miscarried—and immediately returned to detention.

On this day in 1831, the Supreme Court failed to enforce treaties that would have protected the Cherokee people from state and federal interference and from forcible removal later that year.

After a six-year legal battle with Harvard University, Tamara Lanier has won ownership of two of the earliest known photographs of enslaved people in the United States.
The images, taken in 1850, depict an enslaved man named Renty Taylor and his daughter Delia Taylor. They were originally commissioned by Harvard biologist Louis Agassiz as part of research rooted in racist pseudoscience aimed at promoting theories of Black inferiority.
For decades, the portraits remained in Harvard’s possession and were widely reproduced in academic settings. But Lanier, who says she is a direct descendant of Renty and Delia, challenged the university’s ownership in court, arguing that the images were taken without consent and belonged to the family.
Now, after years of legal fights and public pressure, Harvard has agreed to relinquish the photographs to Lanier, marking a significant moment in the ongoing conversation about historical accountability, ownership, and the legacy of slavery in American institutions.

Along with requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote, the bill would require states to use a federal tool to find & remove noncitizens on their voter rolls. That tool, @zachdespart & I found, often inaccurately marks citizens as noncitizens: https://t.co/yew0Lnqgaa
Republicans are terrified of women voting. So they’re pushing the SAVE America Act to choke our registration, demand papers many don’t have & purge us from rolls. They fear our power, rage, & turnout. We will not be silenced. Call 202-224-3121.

ICE in Minneapolis seen abducting someone from a bus stop and putting a black bag over their head (published 3/17/26)
So they have moved to legit "black bagging" now, huh? Nothing dystopia to see here...
They cut USAID because they said we couldn't afford it. Now they're spending $1 billion a day on a war that a majority of Americans oppose and that's killed over 1,000 people. It was never about the money.
WOMEN REPORTED SEXUAL ABUSE INSIDE A FEDERAL PRISON. ICE WAS WAITING AT THE EXIT WITH CHAINS.
A federal women's prison in Dublin, California earned itself a nickname so vile I need a second to type it.
"The rape club."
That's what inmates called it. Not critics. Not journalists. The women locked inside it.
Women were sexually assaulted by staff. They reported it. They cooperated with investigators. They did everything the system told them to do.
And when they finished their sentences and walked out the front door?
ICE agents were waiting
Not counselors.
Not victim advocates.
Chains.
Straight to an immigration detention center. Now facing deportation.
That's not a clerical error. That's INSTITUTIONAL RETALIATION WITH A GOVERNMENT BADGE – and it has a body count of dozens.
Take Cristal.
She endured the abuse. She survived the retaliation inside. She cooperated with law enforcement. Federal law even has a specific visa – a U visa – designed to protect exactly this kind of survivor.
The Trump administration looked at all of that and said: pack your bags.
For years, immigration authorities exercised discretion in cases like these. Survivors cooperating with law enforcement weren't thrown into deportation proceedings. That protection evaporated faster than honesty at a Trump campaign rally.
Here's the double standard that should keep every American awake tonight.
If a white suburban woman reported sexual assault and the government responded by having her arrested at the hospital door and shipped out of state – would anyone call that justice?
Of course not.
There would be congressional hearings before lunch.
An immigrant woman reports the same crime inside a federal facility and the government's response is a zip tie and a one-way ticket.
Say it until it echoes through every courtroom in America:
WHEN VICTIMS ARE PUNISHED FOR SPEAKING, THE SYSTEM ISN'T BROKEN. SADLY, IT'S WORKING EXACTLY AS INTENDED.
...
If you believe survivors deserve protection – not deportation – please repost this. The women at Dublin reported what happened because they trusted the system. The least we can do is make some noise.

And that's the way this grandpa and political satirist sees it.
168 little girls were killed in Minab when a US missile struck their school.
It’s now being confirmed that they hit the school twice.
They bombed an all girls elementary school not once, but twice.
Yet they say the war will liberate women and girls.
Children wounded in US-Israeli air strikes on Iran are being treated at a hospital in Tehran, with some requiring intensive care. Iranian officials say children account for around 30% of those killed in the conflict since the start of the war.

The world's largest bank wired over $3 million to girls involved.
They settled for $75 million. No criminal charges. No arrests.
