@thatchthoughts@dinodoodeTV Are they more than the US resident is paying in insurance premiums, co-pays etc? And are you taking property taxes into account?
@DonaldClarke63@CDeB3232 If most Irish people get more conservative as they get older, why weren't the votes in the 1983 abortion referendum and the 2018 abortion referendum more or less the same?
@sue_pfh@SimpGanassi It's imports of foods (46% of all food consumed in the UK) that's keeping prices low. UK domestic food production hasn't been enough to feed the population for decades. Even if no food produced in the UK was exported, UK-produced food would only meet 75% of consumption demand.
@DeplorableVote@srnorty@SimpGanassi@mikemartintweet Almost half of all farms are less than 20 hectares (49.421 acres) in size. How many of these small farms are commercially viable without any state support?

Is there a lot of wheat grown in the Lake District or Cumbria? Are all farm(ers) the same?
@RuprechtXavier@BarryWhyte85 Yes, that's the point. Even Ireland's nearest neighbours are ignorant about the country and its relationship to Britain, so you can't expect someone from another country to have a clue either.
