The CM of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif now has the most expensive transport fleet compared to any other chief minister or governor of any sub-national government in the world.

The Punjab Chief Minister’s protocol fleet, including two aircraft, VIP helicopters, armoured vehicles, security escorts, and support vehicles, is estimated to represent a value of over Rs 20 billion. The largest single component is the Gulfstream G500/G600-class VIP aircraft, estimated at around Rs 11 billion although the Punjab government is not disclosing the actual amount. A VIP helicopter can add another Rs 3 to 5 billion. The ground fleet now includes four armoured Mercedes-Benz S600/S650 Guard sedans (approximately Rs 250–400 million each), armoured Toyota Land Cruisers and Lexus LX SUVs (around 150 million each), and multiple security SUVs, escort vehicles, and protocol cars.

A normal CM convoy now includes several armoured luxury vehicles, 10–15 security SUVs, 20–30 escort vehicles such as Hilux/double-cabin pickups, 15–25 protocol sedans, motorcycles, communication vehicles, and logistics/support vehicles, including an ambulance. The estimated cost of these road vehicles ranges from Rs 3 to 5 billion, depending on the number and level of armouring. These figures represent approximate acquisition costs only; annual expenses for fuel, maintenance, pilots, drivers, security staff, and operations adds around 3 to 5 billion PKR per year.

میرے شوہر سلمان رضا اور ان کے دوست جنید جہانگیر کو یو اے ای میں غیر قانونی طور پر حراست میں رکھا گیا ہے اور انہیں الیکٹرک شاکس (بجلی کے جھٹکوں) سمیت ہولناک تشدد کا سامنا ہے۔ سلمان کے دانت کھینچ لیے گئے، انہیں بے ہوش کیے بغیر ان کی سرجری کی گئی، اور ان کی پسلیوں پر بے دردی سے مارا گیا۔
جنید (جن کی نظر -3.5 ہے) کو ان کی نظر کی عینک دینے سے انکار کر دیا گیا اور انہیں تنہائی (آئسولیشن) میں رکھا گیا ۔
غیر قانونی حراست کے دوران، جنید جہانگیر کی صحت شدید متاثر ہوئی ہے اور ان کا 25 کلو وزن کم ہو گیا ہے۔ شدید بخار کی وجہ سے وہ بے ہوش ہو گئے، لیکن انہیں کوئی دوا نہیں دی گئی۔
براہِ کرم انصاف کے لیے مداخلت کریں۔ یہ ہمارے خاندان کے لیے انتہائی مشکل وقت ہے۔ میں آپ سے عاجزانہ درخواست کرتی ہوں کہ یو اے ای کے سفیر سے ملاقات کر کے اس مسئلے کو اٹھائیں۔ براہِ کرم ان کی بحفاظت رہائی کو یقینی بنانے میں ہماری مدد کریں۔ ہمیں اس وقت آپ کے تعاون کی شدید ضرورت ہے۔

فراڈ یا برانڈز کی ملی بھگت

یہ فراڈ گزشتہ روز لاہور کی ایک فیملی سے ہوا۔ فیملی نے بچوں کے معروف برانڈ Minnie Minors سے کچھ کپڑے آرڈر کیے جن کی کل قیمت 16,290 روپے بنتی تھی۔ اب جس روز برانڈ نے جس وقت آرڈر ڈلیور کرنا تھا اس سے تقریبا ایک گھنٹہ قبل اسی ایڈریس پر رائیڈر آرڈر لیکر پہنچتا ہے گھر کی بل دیتا ہے گھر والے آرڈر دیکھتے ہیں اس پر کسٹمر کی وہی ساری تفصیلات فون نمبر، نام، ایڈریس موجود ہوتی ہے جو انہوں نے منی مائنر پر آرڈر کرتے وقت درج کروائی تھیں گھر والے وہ تفصیل دیکھ کر رقم دیتے ہیں اور آرڈر وصول کرلیتے ہیں۔ وہ آرڈر ویسے ہی رکھ دیا جاتا ہے کہ کچھ دیر بعد کھولیں گے۔

کچھ دیر بعد ایک اور رائیڈر آرڈر لیکر پہنچ جاتا ہے۔ گھر والے بتاتے ہیں کہ وہ اپنا آرڈر لے چکے تو رائیڈر کہتا ہے کہ آرڈر تو اس کے پاس ہے جس پر گھر والے پہلا پیکج چیک کرتے ہیں تو اس میں ناکارہ کپڑے ہوتے ہیں تو انکو پتہ چلتا ہے انکے ساتھ فراڈ ہوچکا ہے۔

اب سوال یہ ہے کہ کسٹمر نے ڈیٹا منی مائنر کو فراہم کیا وہ فراڈیوں کے ہاتھ کیسے لگا؟ کیا منہ مائنر کا عملہ اس میں ملوث ہے؟ کیا اس برانڈ کا سسٹم محفوظ نہیں ہے کہ وہاں سے ڈیٹا لیک ہوا؟ عام شہری کے لئے مسئلہ یہ ہے کہ وہ اب اسکے خلاف قانونی کارروائی کرے تو کیا کرے؟قانونی کارروائی پر خرچ، مشکلات الگ ہیں جس کے باعث یہ فراڈ روز بروز بڑھ رہے ہیں۔
