⚠️Attention to All JKRs, Angel Golden, and Ormlette⚠️
Please take a moment to read this thoroughly—this matter directly affects the safety, rights, and experience of every fan planning to attend fanmeet.
It has come to light that ChaoQi Entertainment may not meet the legal and regulatory requirements to host the LingOrm Fanmeet in Taipei.
The most urgent issue concerns the 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀, which carries serious legal implications for LingOrm.
1. 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗻
ChaoQi is a China-based company and, under Taiwanese law, 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀 and act as main organiser for fan events.
Since ChaoQi does not meet this requirement, there is a significant risk that LingOrm’s work visa will not be applied or approved. This could lead to a 𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟭 𝘁𝗼 𝟳 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 due to non-compliance with immigration regulations.
2. 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
ChaoQi has appointed a Taiwan-based company, Ai Shang, as the organiser in documents submitted to Taiwanese authorities.
However, in all promotional materials and online communications, ChaoQi is listed as the main organiser, while Ai Shang is labelled as a co-organiser.
Here’s the problem:
•𝗜𝗳 𝗔𝗶 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗼-𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁’𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗮.
•𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗼𝗤𝗶, 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗮.
This contradiction indicates that no party is in a legal position to secure a valid work visa for LingOrm, putting the event and the artist’s entry into Taiwan at serious risk.
3. 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆
Fans who reached out to Ai Shang for clarification were redirected back to ChaoQi.
This passing of responsibility creates a dangerous situation where no one is taking full accountability.
If the event is cancelled or mismanaged, fans could be left without proper recourse for refunds or complaints, as the organiser roles are unclear and legally mismatched.
4. 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿
There is 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗜𝗣 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁-𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀.
Several fanmeets held by ChaoQi in other countries have faced the same issue, with scalper tickets appearing almost immediately after announcements.
5. 𝗢𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘆
This situation is not isolated.
The media and even members of parliament in Taiwan are now monitoring the issue closely, with reports already circulating.
This underscores the seriousness of the matter and the potential legal consequences involved.
𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼:
•𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀.
•𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗳𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿.
•𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗢𝗿𝗺 𝗯𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺.
I also call on CH3 to prioritise the well-being of fans and artists by partnering only with organisers that operate lawfully and ethically. Fans deserve safe, transparent, and respectful treatment.
