journey hits different when the squad is built different.
much love to the fermah fam.
the builders, believers, and everyone pushing forward together.
proud to be part of this journey and excited for everything we’re building.
I genuinely used to think prediction markets were just a fun side bet.
people guessing outcomes, nothing serious behind it.
then I watched one resolve on @FlashcastSocial and it changed how i think about this whole space.
normally these markets work like this: event ends, then a committee or a group of voters has to agree on the result, then you wait 24 to 48 hours for a payout. someone always has to step in and confirm what happened.
this one didn't need that. the match ended, and 3 seconds later the market was already settled onchain. no vote, no committee, no person clicking a button. just code watching the event and proof going onchain the moment it happened.
it's built on fermah kernel, the part of @fermah_xyz that lets contracts react to real world events on their own. flashcast is the first app running on top of it, and seeing it work in real time is what actually convinced me.
small thing, but it's the kind of detail that tells you a system was actually built right.
