@SeanTrende Except....remember when there was video evidence of Trump saying he liked to "grab em by the p****" but this got overlooked? Here is the real difference. He is a Democrat. If he was a Republican running against a Democratic woman, he would have stayed in the race.
@LisaBritton Most Liberal kids think Climate Change disaster is around the corner, and don't want to have kids for that reason. Mind you, it IS HAPPENING, but having kids is still a good thing, IMO.
@carney This doesn't actually tell you anything about how people will vote. Tale as old as time: kids end up having more liberal views than their parents.
@davidslosttt 2016. That will be remembered as the last election. Losing the Supreme Court was catastrophic. No more Roe. More power to billionaires. Now Republicans allowed to Gerrymander all they want. Even voting our way out of it is almost impossible. We had to win that one, and blew it.
@JoePostingg Finally.. Someone with some damn sense around here. It's 2026, and Dems are acting like it's still 2006. The electorate cares WAY more about advancing policy goals than whether the candidate is a good person. In some cases, the people WANT the asshole fighting for them.
@BasedIllinoisan It's because she is in a solid blue state. Those kind is "wrong party" senators are so rare in the age of polarization, if you've got one, you have to do everything you can to keep them. Dems did a lot for Joe Manchin, even though he wasn't a great Democrat.
@NickyFrank30 No. The voters in the primary picked him. We need to learn from Trump for once. The American people have shown they will support terrible people to accomplish ideological goals. Fuck it. Time to double down.
@_fat_ugly_rat_ They wanted to win points by appointing culture warriors. However, I don't think they ever thought they would ACTUALLY accomplish their "goals." Overturning Roe wasn't supposed to really happen. It's like if the dog actually catches the car.
@TopCrackaReal@blueblueballou@BonkDaCarnivore There are some situations where this will not happen. Back in the early 2010's we needed more money in the economy, and despite the Quantitative Easing performed by many world governments, it did not cause inflation.
@scaryslocuda@BonkDaCarnivore Nobody wants inflation, but it would be nice if we could have a world like in the old days when people could work at Sears or some shit and afford a house, car, and more or less normal life. I'm not voting for any candidate if they don't have a plan to create that kind of world.
@EndWokeness This isn't true. Back in 2017, the AJC put out this map of projected trends, and white population was expected to be under 50% by 2033. We are only six years ahead of schedule, not 34.
