@disyanks @TalkinYanks I think the more important question is why is Jake Bird still seen as the better choice over Yovanny Cruz. If Cruz was in the roster I think you would see Blackburn pitch another inning. Boone would much rather have Blackburn available to hand him the ball over Bird.
