What has me upset is that none of this was addressed prior to the appt, nor was I advised to arrive early, or what the limits are (all of my blood work is within range). This is plain and simple, bad business. They also "lost" the first email with the rates. Don't go there.
Horrific, second time issue with #Restorewellness
2774 Town Center Blvd Crestview Hills, KY. 65 yrs. I was forced to share my last bloodwork. One of my items was CLOSE to a limit (58 wherein 60 is the max). They once again (this is the second time) rejected me for services. 1/2
@autismcrisis I know many autistic people who, due to slower development, were presumed to have PA only to find they had motor delays blocking communication. & I don't know any autistic who hasn't episodically had days with no DLS that were usable for periods. There is no working definition.
Being employed while autistic doesn't mean your autism disappeared. It means you've clawed your way to working but the needs continue. #SSA#Socialsecurity
@2e0rtb@saj_anderson If no one who is imperfect can come to worship, the churches would be empty.
Wait, this kind of trash talk and weaponizing of literature is why the churches are progressively emptier. I know it's part of why I am no longer setting foot in one. Not to mention misogyny.
So I posted this 2 hours ago. A came into comments asking for a DM to respond. Crickets.....
So we ordered GABA via subscription via #Amazon (3 bottles, 3 months' worth). It's past the return date but not past the expiration by YEARS (2028), and it is defective.. .😡📷😡
I am not playing today.
I asked #X to take down a post that called the readers "retar**d.
The R should be considered as stigmatizing a word as the N word.
You need to update your efforts.
So we ordered GABA via subscription via #Amazon (3 bottles, 3 months' worth). It's past the return date but not past the expiration by YEARS (2028), and it is defective (it turned brown instead of the bright white it's supposed to be). Credit issued for ONE! 😡😡😡
@thegenesisbl0ck How can someone who's supposed to be educated use language that is so dehumanizing. Grow a vocabulary that doesn't include disability slurs.
@spoonfulofhan Luxuries? How about basic needs being met. Therapy. Housing help. Support for basic housekeeping and cooking. Shopping. I don't care about luxuries. I want my peers to have basic needs met.
I get so frustrated by how disabled people claw their way to a job, only to have all of the supports removed, when they don't make enough to replace those supports. Blind folk need and deserve and keep their supports. Why not other disabled folk?
@SarahMarieOB At least you know. Now you can choose how to deal with it. You don't have to say you're autistic -- "I just want you to know how excited I am about this. I know my face and tone of voice may not convey this--it's just a thing with me--but I'd really love this job."
