I didn’t know most of you on #NewYearsDay 2020, so you likely don’t know this about me. @CoryBooker did. Never ever will I feel more seen. • Imagine starting *the year 2020* with Cory Booker and 175 neighbors and have no clue what a shi+sh0w the year would turn out to be?
@uncoyle@LouiseWeebe "Little books with little words." Hahaha! Can you even imagine Les Mis in large font? I’m dying just thinking about how massive that book would be!
@LouiseWeebe Many big novels started as serialized works! Authors like Charles Dickens (Great Expectations), Victor Hugo (Les Misérables), Leo Tolstoy (War and Peace), and Alexandre Dumas (The Count of Monte Cristo) published their stories in installments—mere nuggets to devour one at a time.
@vet_boys Reminds me of losing my 12yo Silkie to a grass awn up his nose last year. Hard to know where it traveled and caused the infection but surgery wasn’t safe for him.
@teacher_phd @AcademicChatter @Lollardfish Reading your website was a wonderful way to end my day. Thanks for the siggestion. Signed, a 2001 English Lit major.
@LilGirlOf7@adhdjesse Last week I had to explain the #ADHD real issues with getting the dirty dishes from the supper table into the dishwasher. Maybe they kinda understood?
