this image accidentally illustrates the inner mind of the avg fandomite and explains why so many modern fandoms seem to hate the media they're meant to be fans of.
for them, art only exists as content they can project onto. the authors existence is seen as a mere inconvenience.
@d4ckazama This is also probably why the swimsuit DLC for the guys are limited to very baggy and oddly long swim trunks and a couple wetsuits.
Lee is the only guy with anything inching towards fanservice with his bikini briefs, but it looks as uncanny and off as the fundoshis.
@d4ckazama I can’t find the exact article atm, but I remember seeing stuff circulating around TK8’s launch about the devs needing to adhere to notes from their Western branches about outfits being too risqué and needing to cover more skin.
I think that’s why the fundoshis look so off.
@BoldfaceJames “Man, I don't like these inferior people helping us to work towards the greater good.”

every single aspect of every videogame ever exists to provoke reactions. mario's cheerful music provokes happiness, sonic's speed provokes thrill.
the only thing this man says is "things that provoke feelings i don't like shouldn't be allowed to exist."
a deeply evil statement
