Does my precinct include schools in Keller ISD? No.

Can residents of Keller ISD vote for me? No.

Did I still show up to listen to the growing concerns of our neighbors about the potential split of Keller ISD? Yes.

Why? Because a cynical interpretation of state law suggests that I, as a commissioner, may ultimately have a vote on this split—while Keller ISD families won’t. I wanted to make myself available to the many who’ve emailed and called my office distressed about the split. And, I am always going to be a voice for those whose voices have been silenced by backroom decisions.

While others focus on playing politics, I represent the people. My commitment remains clear: ensuring that all our neighbors across all of Tarrant County are valued and treated fairly—no matter where they live.
