Excited to share that I have accepted an offer to join the Florida State University Department of History as Specialized Teaching Faculty! This is truly my dream professor job, and I’ve worked incredibly hard to get here. I couldn’t be happier.

@zalatwicc Going for daily walks. Honestly, it's life-changing. It's one of my non-negotiables in life. Doesn't matter if I was in the middle of my PhD or a new mom, I go for a walk every day.

One of the reasons that American colonists opposed the Stamp Act was bc it made their playing cards more expensive. In my dissertation, I wrote about a French woman who owned a paper mill and exported playing cards to the American colonies. Happy belated 4th!
