Delaware State @DelawareStateFB long snapper @c_rasin52 made the trip to Eau Claire WI to chase perfection!

Carter and I found a handful of things to work on during his initial evaluation. First being his very aggressive start that caused him to slide back and lose control of his body through the release. He also struggled using both hands together causing the ball to pull high right or go nose up to the target.

We spent a good chunk of time getting his body to feel what control could feel like and then put our attention on his sequencing.

Carter caught on quickly and was snapping FASTER without sliding! Shocker! This is a hard concept to grasp for most young snappers because they relate power with aggression, but they forget about the law of inertia! Transferring energy is almost MORE important than how hard you snap.

Looking forward to continuing to help Carter chase perfection!
