First thing I thought of when watching was Windy Tales - pretty different tone-wise but they seem to both be commenting on the same thing, ie. embracing imperfection and life's little twists. Similarly, Windy Tales puts this notion at the core of it's aesthetic. #diyアニメ

As expected DIY #01 is amazing, I'm really impressed by the worldbuilding, design work and care put into the mannerisms of the characters. We don't often get animes that feel so well thought, especially for SOL.
