यदि CBDT के मुख्य वकील के परिवार का कोई सदस्य बीमार हो सकता है, तो क्या लाखों CA, अधिवक्ताओं और टैक्स प्रोफेशनल्स के परिवार नहीं हैं? क्या उनकी भी व्यक्तिगत जिम्मेदारियां और पारिवारिक समस्याएं नहीं हैं?

आखिर CBDT टैक्स ऑडिट की तारीख बढ़ाने के फैसले को अंतिम समय तक क्यों टाल रहा है?

लाखों टैक्स प्रोफेशनल्स दिन-��ात अतिरिक्त समय तक काम कर रहे हैं। वे भारी कार्यभार, मानसिक तनाव और अनिश्चितता का सामना कर रहे हैं।

आखिर इन प्रोफेशनल्स के स्वास्थ्य, मानसिक तनाव और उनके परिवारों की चिंता कौन करेगा?

प्रोफेशनल्स भी इंसान हैं, केवल समय-सीमा में काम पूरा करने वाली मशीनें नहीं। उनके समय, स्वास्थ्य और पारिवारिक जीवन का भी महत्व है।

CBDT से विनम्र अपील है कि संवेदनशीलता दिखाते हुए तत्काल निर्णय ले और लाखों टैक्स प्रोफेशनल्स को इस अनिश्चितता से राहत प्रदान करे।

Even if the extension is announced on 28th, it will offer little relief. By then, CAs have already suffered extreme pressure, anxiety and sleepless nights. The extension is needed before the deadline, not after the damage is done.

Almost everyone wants an extension.
But why?

Because August went into completing Non-Audit ITRs.

The Government provided relief to Non-Audit taxpayers by permanently shifting their due date to 31 August.

That was a welcome decision.

But the same set of professionals is handling both Non-Audit ITRs and Tax Audits.

So when one deadline was shifted forward, the practical time available for Tax Audit was reduced to just 30 days.

Therefore, this time the issue is not merely about an extension.

We need a permanent solution.

And the practical permanent solution is simple:

Shift the Tax Audit due date permanently from 30 September to 31 October.

This will restore a reasonable and workable gap between the Non-Audit ITR and Tax Audit deadlines.

A fixed and predictable compliance calendar is better than creating uncertainty every September and then discussing extensions at the last moment.

Don't wait for the crisis every year.
Fix the timeline permanently.

31 August : Non-Audit ITR
31 October : Tax Audit

Maintain a reasonable gap.
Provide a permanent solution.
