@IncomeTaxIndia The provision of issuing form 16A should be scrapped as the same already reflected in Form 26AS and AIS. It should be issued only when demanded by the deductee. This will reduce compliance burden to some extent. No penalty/fees should be charged.

Paper Leak is not possible without the involvement of insiders. First those termite and parasites within the system should be found out and booked under National Security Act.

@IncomeTaxIndia While raising a new request for rectification of mistake u/s 154 against order passed by CPC at the IT Portal for the AY 2023-24 the portal displays the following message since several days "Error: messages. Runtime Exception Code". Please guide and help.
@IncomeTaxIndia Call received from CPC end. They informed that it's a technical glitch of which they are aware and will be sorted out by the technical team shortly and we shall be informed once done.
Self Assessment Tax paid for AY 2025-26. Amount debited from Bank. Challan status Payment Initiated. The challan is not showing under Payment History. it's almost 90 mins from payment time. Today is the due date. @IncomeTaxIndia@abhishekrajaram@FinMinIndia

Now already two months have passed from the Notification Date and only four months are left to file the application. Please issue clarification on the matter.
@cbic_india@abhishekrajaram As per Notification 22/2024-CT dt 18.10.24 rectification application has to be filed online if ITC Originally disallowed u/s 16(4) is now allowed u/s 16(5) within 6 months of the Notification.
However the Portal is not allowing to file the Rectification Application as the Details of the Original Order and Date are not reflected the drop-down menu of Online Rectification Application if three months time lapsed from the date of the Original Order.
@bsnlassamcircle I had recharged my mobile on 8.11.2024 with plan Rs. 397 valid for 150 days..but now I have recd msg that my plan expired on 7.12.24 and need to recharge again. cannot make calls.
