With the support of Nepal Army and security forces Nepal Red Cross has successfully delivered relief supplies to people and communities that were affected by the flood/landslide. NRCS is now preparing to provide immediate multiple-purpose cash support.

Heavy rainfall beginning on 26 September and lasting for three days caused widespread flooding and landslides across Nepal, marking the highest rainfall ever recorded in the country. This IFRC-DREF aims to support the @NepalRedCross to address the immediate needs of approximately 20,000 people through relief efforts, transitional shelter support, and assistance in health, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), protection, and cash and voucher assistance.
@BDRCS1 Youth Volunteers risked everything to save lives, rescue families, provide food and water, and offer medical and mental health support during the flash flood in August 2024.
