@HuwTindall@TalksRugby All rucks, not just counter rucks - desperately need to own every single one of our rucks.
I’m pretty confident in the outside backs to capitalise if the forwards can get the job done there.
Message to Wallaby fans in Lyon:
- The Welsh will be loud so let's be louder
- Eddie will get booed. Let's stick up for him
- When you hear "Aussie" bloody well scream "Oi!!"
This isn't a polite club reserve grade game. It's test footy, get LOUD!!
Go you Wallabies! 🦘
@KristyKaye5@TalksRugby Donaldson has been in good form both games. We haven’t had many positives but he’s been decent and has some confidence - to ignore that would be even crazier than selecting him.
It’s something to work from at least - even if small.
@rugby_podcast@drew_mitchell Drew’s points were much along the lines of the questions journalists asked Eddie at the airport when he told them to be more positive & give themselves uppercuts… & most fans sided with Eddie on that occasion.
Drew’s right… so many things remain unanswered
Have been a big Nic White fan last few years. Starting to get the preference of McDermott now tho.
I don’t think Tate is a complete player yet, keen to see how he goes with some time in the saddle tho.
Reckon Teddy Wilson won’t be far off getting a spot in 12 months.
@brumby_fan Not sure if you could see it from the broadcast but it was apparent at the game but he was a real leader. It was him that decided to attack every Fiji lineout towards the end. Assume game plan was not to but he was yelling out “get me up” every Fiji lineout.
Wallabies by 20 again.
Gordon & Donaldson to kick well with Frosty, Arnold & Hooper rewarding them with lineout wins and steals.
Slipper to own the scrum and stay at tight head all RWC.
Petaia & Nawaqanitawase to own the outside channel.
Fiji to score a special try or 2.
