We need @JoeBiden. We need a mensch.
From Rabbi Michael Beals of Delaware :
"The story I’m about to share with you about Joe Biden is special -- in fact, I’m fairly certain I’m the only living person left who actually witnessed it firsthand.

Tomorrow, @TexasMonthly will be dropping a ~12,000 word story on Paul Pressler, the alleged sexual predator who remade the Southern Baptist Convention and helped ordain the marriage between the GOP and white evangelical voters. There is *a lot* in there and I hope you'll read it.
I was in Montreal to see Alex Newhook go into the boards and break his ankle back in November. He had to have surgery, so seeing him score *that goal* in Game 7 is pretty darn cool.
Each time we sidestep a difficulty, we hand it the keys to our kingdom. Fear thrives on our retreat — the shadows we refuse to face stretch and distort until they dwarf the landscape of our lives. But here's where the plot thickens: the very catastrophes that haunt our nightmares often arrive not in spite of our worrying, but as its direct consequence. Our anxious minds script the disaster, our trembling hands build its stage, our avoidant hearts open the curtain. We imagine ourselves as sentries guarding against danger, yet we're actually its unwitting accomplice, co-authoring the tragedy we're desperate to avoid. There's only one exit from this theater of dread — straight through the center aisle, past the seats filled with our terror, directly toward the thing that makes us want to run. Face to face with our inner fears, hand in hand with uncertainty, we discover a revelation: most fears dissolve like morning mist the moment we stop feeding them with our flight.

This winter, I brought to life something that has lived in my imagination for years—the first annual print edition of The Gurdeep Magazine. It features writing from other contributors alongside my own work. If you feel called to hold this warmth of printed words in your hands, visit https://t.co/BXgkHE1cIT.
In a world where grief bleeds through the seams of our hyperconnected lives, where minds fracture under invisible weight, where democracy withers in the shadow of rising authoritarians—joy is no longer luxury. It's insurrection. To dance, to laugh, to choose lightness when darkness presses from all sides: this is how we refuse to be conquered. This video is my small act of defiance—a flickering candle passed hand to hand, a whispered reminder that even in the deepest night, we can still choose to burn.

Despite the awful and unjust tragedies that dominate our media, remember there are millions of good people who show up for their neighbors every day.
From goodnews_movement on IG: Opal had a bad fall 10 months ago. This sweet sanitation worker who witnessed it brings her trash up her driveway every week since. 🗑 ❤️ Opal’s daughter broke down in tears when she saw this ring video.
Captain America gets inducted while the Stars have on off day in town.
Expected that many teammates and Dallas management will attend at tonight’s event to honor Pavs
@kroger 1592 S Loop 288 has no handbaskets. They have been in short supply for a while. While you're doing ANOTHER remodel could you maybe spend some money on a few plastic baskets? I know you are terrified of shrinkage at that location But, is it worse than Maple Ave in Dallas
@YahooCare approx how long does it take for 27k plus emails in the trash file take to get permanently deleted? Because that little circle has been spinning a while.
I am 4.6 miles away from the previous test. Same city, but it might as well be a different planet.
This is the sort of connectivity I'm supposed to be getting @TMobile
