The Appleton – Menasha, Wisconsin tornado from today (July 27) appears to have produced a meteotsunami! This phenomenon can occur when a strong tornado or severe thunderstorm rapidly displaces water on a lake or other body of water, creating a localized tsunami-like wave. A similar event was documented with the powerful EF3 tornado that struck Canton Lake, Oklahoma, on May 24, 2011.

@mrscotch33 @KarthikForTexas @JDVance I don’t live in a rural, but anyways, I respect your opinion and am glad you’ve been treated well by the healthcare system in the US. While universal healthcare may not be the answer, I think it’s time for a major overhaul, whatever that looks like, I’m not sure.
