I'm really liking pretty much everything they're planning. Just a shame the game had to be put on death-support for this
If this was an update to last until December when they'd resume major releases, I think literally everyone would've been happy
Shattered Cycle and the Alchemist could've been combined into one, and the game THEN put on hold.
@evanf1997_ Yea, and like 60% of all the content the game ever saw. I think ending it without ever getting all that stuff back is just a tragedy. It's nothing like the D1 life support update, we've still only got half the game
While I agree with most of this, D1 still has major issues and I'm not talking about FPS or FOV. While yes (most) of the game's content is still there and playable, it lacks a lot of structure once you complete the first 2 acts of the base game's campaign. Pretty much once you're Level 26, the entire game opens up to you with little to no structure about what to do next because so many quests appear all at once. Yes, it's good to have it all, but it's not exactly well put together either. I'd love an anthology game for Destiny, but it's never ever gonna happen lol
If the original content for D2 were restored, the Cosmodrome start wouldn't be needed at all since it would be a clear cut difference from the D1 game. D2 could have its own beginning and end. But I agree with the sentiment that D2 is beyond saving ultimately. But D3 being a fresh start won't make it any more likely to succeed since IT WILL depend on the previous games to carry its initial marketing gambit
@Crimsn_@LUCKYY10P Bro Destiny 2 has under half of the content it's ever produced. You really want them to leave a game so incomplete that there is nothing to draw players to D3 other than the nostalgia bait for veterans? How can newer players flock to D3 without a foothold in the original games?
@KnownAsSys I'd be more hyped if I could use MnK for it since I hate controller for FPS games :D But I guess I'll just have to slog through it to experience the magic again
No, you fucking clown. The issue is the event specific loot is overshadowed by the standard loot. It's a 1 week long event for PVP. And instead of getting the event loot, we are getting almost exclusively standard loot. For me, with over 100matches during the week, I saw plenty of ARs but that's only because of the sheer volume of rewards. Why run an event to give such a low drop rate for event-specific loot. And with the only new addition being the weapons, why such low chance for the weapons? Do you not see the issues here?
Do you want only the people who play the game 50hrs a week to see the new rewards? I'm already one of those players, I've got 9k hours in Destiny. "kids be more spoiled and toxic" Grow the fuck up you moron. I want to play the game, I care about it. If I didn't, I'd be gone already. Can you uncs get more stupid and entitled? Jesus Fuck
None of the above. I play everything in Destiny. I love to play Crucible, but I don't think they have ever done the "competitive" aspect properly. Comp is just quick play but sweatier and 3v3. That's literally it, there is no discernible difference. As for PVE, abilities need to be tuned down and primaries need to be tuned up. It's more complex than that ofc, but that's a good starting point
@NuCaloric I really like Pit of Heresy, I just wish that for the Chamber of Suffering, we had to kill a Wizard boss standing on the plate instead of just dunk void orbs. Having only a single boss was kinda lame. But I agree, Zulmak's design is pretty cool
@Destiny2Team@A_dmg04 This iteration of Iron Banner has genuinely been a disgrace. It has failed on every single front. Not only has the connection quality been terrible nearly every game (which it has been in IB for literally years), but this event failed to even drop common loot for IB. Getting 3-4 drops per match and having most of that be not just armour, but standard Crucible armour, has shown that you are unfit to run the most basic Copy-Paste events in the game. Utterly shameful that this easy layup turned into the biggest fumble. Foolish
