Ok it's been a while since I wrote twitter threads and I've been wanting to retake this project for a while so I'll start by writing a thread about why I started this project
Serious agentic engineering, my talk today at @StartupGalicia 🌊. Real architecture, not toy demos. Here you can find 4 patterns for running coding agents. Some pattern are almost undocumented!
Thx to @xoelipedes, @StartupGalicia and @ChristianPalou

@LughSpear@Mamajutsu@visakanv yeah I think you’re just pointing at something about why I enjoy talking to LLMs - like the fact that I can leave generating answers to them, answers that most of the time are not that interesting, frees me up to think about the questions
@nickcammarata is there much of a difference in personality between using claude vs chatgpt with the right custom instructions?
to what extent do you think this is just an issue with chatgpt’s system prompt?
@noampomsky I’ve got the opposite feeling. I keep seeing everyone talk about claude and I wanna try it but I’m really attached to chatgpt’s personality with my custom instructions.
maybe if claude had a way to set default custom instructions i would give it a try but afaict it doesn’t
@visakanv recently I’ve been considering adding an auto archive feature to my obsidian so that any under developed notes that I haven’t modified in a while get archived
this tweet is the main argument in favour of it but I guess I’m worried about missing out on something
@joshm@arcinternet I was pretty taken aback by the video to be honest, but this tweet has reminded me of what loved about TBC to begin with. I’m hopeful that your vision will pay off and can’t wait to see it!
i’ve always wanted to read more ribbonfarm but i’ve felt a bit overwhelmed by the sheer amount of it. weirdly now that i know it’s over i’m feeling very motivated to go read all the best essays
@visakanv Happy birthday!!!! so so many of your threads and essays have helped me over the years, and I’ve really enjoyed introspect! I hope you had a great day 🥳
It's pretty crazy the extent to which people's lives is literally bottleneck by their imagination of what their life can be.
Like there was tweet floating around about "what hobbies are there past 25 besides cooking and exercising" and someone quote-posting, saying how they
the stuff you joke about (even ironically or whatever) has a way of shaping your reality so be careful and deliberate with that stuff. a lot of people out here fumbling their own bags by joking about outcomes they don’t want. you might as well joke about the outcomes you do want
@tim_cook I think the ad would work much better if it was reversed. All the objects should be expanding out of the iPad rather than being crushed into it
made this edited version in five minutes (thanks iMovie!)
