@SebAaltonen @schteppe plus, I'm having a really hard time using AI efficiently with python. The language defers so much to runtime, and allow for so much bad practices without biting, it's nearly impossible for AI to write consistent, bug free code in mid to large projects.

@Ideiasradicais Eu cheguei a uma conclusão parecida, mas ainda mais extrema. Acho que não vale mais a pena ensinar libertarianismo. Ja existe uma abundancia de conteúdo, em qualquer idioma. Qualquer um com o mínimo de curiosidade consegue achar. Pena que "qualquer um" é de 2 a 5% da população

@cegadede @PedroLulaMota tem a conveniência de um gestor mantendo um duration costante de 2, 5 e 10 anos. Comprando direto, eles vão encurtando e o perfil de risco muda. Também tem o fato que vc nunca precisa desinvestir. O ETF segue tributação de renda variável, então é 15% na saída. Se não sair -> 0%.

This is exactly how I feel about AI. good tool, more efficient overall, slightly worse code, some frustrating micro management. Pros outweighs cons overall though

Regardless of what I say about AI, somebody always considers my post overly negative or overly positive. It's a polarizing topic for sure. If you are in the middle, everybody hates you on both sides. I have a pragmatic view about AI. It's a good tool, but it needs a lot of micro-management to be viable, and even then it often frustrates me. Still I use it because it improves my overall productivity. But the quality is slightly worse, even with constant micro-management.

@SebAaltonen You can take RTS games as inspiration as well. Though the number of players is fairly limited, you need to share detailed state on thousands of independent units. And if u can make your game fully deterministic, then there's the seminal paper on Age of Empires networking on 64kb

@choffstein @Deathswap1 The sim racing community is pretty much PC only. You dont need to go iRacing directly. Test waters with Automobilista, Assetto Corsa or RFactor. Best entry level rig is Logitech G920/G29. Thrustmaster is also a pretty solid, mid-level option. Buy used, good discounts.
