we just launched Kitesurf, a stateless browser that runs completely on Workers, tailored for agents — something that started as a fun side-project and turned into a product, powered by Dynamic Workers.
for most cases, agents and automations don't need pixel-perfect rendered pages (if they need it rendered at all!) so, Kitesurf's architecture reflects exactly that: we separate the page's script/DOM from it's rendering on 2 Dynamic Workers, and lazily start the renderer if we ever need to — this alone allows us to save a LOT of CPU time and memory vs running the same workload on Chromium and therefore, will allow us to scale much better.
with that said, this is still very much in an early/alpha state (it just passes ~240k WPT tests): it can already render news outlets, HN, our blog, ... but will struggle on some more demanding pages. we are just getting started though :)
imo, the most impressive part is that this was even possible to reach this state in 12 weeks (by just me and @ruifigueira!). That says something about how strong agents have become but also cements the maturity of our developer platform. A huge shoutout to @celso, Ruskin, and the Blitz/Servo folks that helped make this possible in the first place.
