Having a very hard day being a puppy parent. Twitter friends who are/were puppy parents, please send words of encouragement, stories, tips/tricks, etc. Not taking away from or comparing to human babies, but this shit is hard 🙄😔
When Nick Vicidomini was diagnosed with cancer as a child, funds raised by Penn State’s dance marathon, Thon, helped to save his life. Now, he is giving back as a member of the organization’s executive board.
I’m almost 50, and here is the best thing I have learned so far: every strange thing you’ve ever been into, every failed hobby or forgotten instrument, everything you have ever learned will come back to you, will serve you when you need it. No love, however brief, is wasted.
The more I think about it, Twitter having stories is okay. I deleted all other social media, but kept this one, because like 20 people that I actually know have it. I’ve missed watching the celebrities and bloggers that I love on Instagram post about their life.
When we deny our history and pain, our history and pain own us.
When we have the courage to own our stories of pain, fear, and oppression, we can write a new story.
Today we start a new story of unity, inclusivity, democracy, science, and empathy.
