@usustainme @cassidycainpea1 I hadn’t read this report but I’m from Houston & having lived through several major hurricanes and other flooding events, I can tell you for sure the areas hit hardest and the ones who go without power/water/food access the longest are NOT the ones where white ppl live. #ENVIR400

My most recent one was a book called “Designated Ugly Fat Friend” that I didn’t think any young goodwill shoppers needed to read lol. I’m thinking about @heatlovesnature’s lightning talk as I stare at a bag of old clothes in my room... Does anyone have a favorite way to recycle cloth in Seattle? I’m not comfortable donating stained, ripped clothing but I don’t want it to end up in a landfill either!#ENVIR400

@KatieJerauld2 @usustainme Bilbao is my favorite city in Spain and it’s sooo walkable!! You can get from one end to the other in under an hour, but it’s so metropolitan that it feels like a big city. I had so much fun there one summer & I’d love to live there one day — the walkability is a huge reason why!

This helped teach boys that “no” didn’t really mean no, that it was a part of “the game”, the starting line of a power struggle. It taught overcoming a woman’s strenuous, even physical objections, was normal, adorable, funny. They didn’t even give the woman the ability to SPEAK.
