@xx_steph_xx@BrittanyandBil1@CP24 It absolutely is. Patients in withdrawal are often hospitalized, often requiring ICU care. They unfortunately would clog up the patient beds that we need right now as we don’t have many empty ones left. It may seem money driven, but it is the right decision.
Shoutout to all of the incredible health care providers who are working tirelessly throughout this pandemic. In a health care system that is already beyond strained, I am constantly amazed at the talent and resilience we have from our medical professionals in Ontario and Canada.
