I have nothing against Foxen and he did what everybody would and should do, but the tanking stuff is such a joke. Not only is it terrible and very off putting for amateurs playing the game (no amateurs = no game) but PokerGO spend so much on producing amazing content and the tournaments are designed for TV and therefore so should the rules be. Poker is about this kind of stuff, but it shouldn’t be. Final tables should be hands per level to combat this form of “strategy”. Time banks have been an amazing addition to modern poker but used in this manner is such a disaster to the game in every sense. Have a nice Wednesday.

Was playing a high stakes game last night watching the tourney in the background. Most the players could play those events. We all said had no desire to even try even tho we think we’d fair fine (maybe we wouldn’t) after one of the players went bust they came to our game and said how annoying all the staring and waiting til 28 seconds gone before acting was. The high stakes scene is creating an unplayable environment for most and the only people that look up to it and want to be a part of it will morph into that behavior both inside the tourney and outside which is horrible for our growth. No idea how to solve it but 30 seconds of staring at each other when you don’t play tells only sims is silly. The whole scene would be laughable if it wasn’t just sad.
