In a pandemic, sharing technology is life or death.
And we are choosing death.
Money cannot be prioritized over saving lives.
What's at stake is beyond just this pandemic.

‘Much of what is known on this topic is based on studies on men, researchers say.’ When will women’s health be considered important enough to study? @womeninGH @RoopaDhatt @WomenintheWorld @WghSweden @GlobalHlth5050 https://t.co/aeufeGV8oX
We’ve been tracking these #’s for years & we’re nowhere close to #genderparity at leadership level in #healthcare, yet 🌏 pop is 50/50 & workforce is as ⬆️ as 80% women 🚺. When will everyone be counted & rep’d in decisions that affect their #health and ability to thrive? #WHA75
THE RESULTS ARE IN! 📉
This year's gender parity count reveals that only 23% of the #WHA75 Member State delegations are headed by♀️
For every woman's voice, there are three men making decisions on health on behalf of women
It’s time to listen to women! https://t.co/9zVH2uRfwF
Very nice to see @womeninGH delivering statements at #WHA75 on #HRH bringing to focus the challenges that still remain on #genderequity in our workplaces everywhere in the world.

At #WHA75, I am advocating for:

Today, world leaders at the #WHA75 will be discussing strengthening @WHO's preparedness for and response to health emergencies
Women are 70% of the health workforce, it is unacceptable to leave them out of the conversation!
Gender equality➡️ Smarter global Health
#GenderEqualHCW
Very emotional #WHA75 — with speakers all calling for peace. Dr. Ahmed Hankir, who received the WHO DG’s global health leaders award, also experienced war himself, and how he developed psychological distress from it and experienced stigma, and how he thought of taking his life.
Let’s talk about the leadership gap at the #WHA!
Last year only 26% of Member State delegations were headed by women. With a sector that is made up of 70% women, we can do better!
Stay tuned for our gender parity count for #WHA75
Watch out: We are at #WHA75 demanding for gender transformative leadership through action! So proud of the remarkable @womeninGH delegation to #WHA75 co-led by @MagdaNRobalo. 7 yrs later, we did it. We’re bringing women & allies together from around the 🌍 for #genderequality .
