@PolesWires Right, we need to build more subways. Using traditional delivery methods, like we’re used at the END of the Vaughan extension when Bechtel came in and slammed it a home run and walked away with their money as agreed.

@CanadaLoyalist I’d argue that we need to bring back crown corporations to run these. Greyhound pulling out of Canada and leaving the intercity bus network in shambles should’ve been a warning call. Ontario Northland has picked up a lot of the slack, but there’s no nationwide system.

@GrandpaKen05 @RB37884520 For real, and the CBC can manage the advertising as funding for it too. Use as much Canadian content and showcase Canadian manufacturing end to end from the cement mortar to repair the stone foundation to the shingles on the roof. If we’re lucky, maybe even some tech!

It’s a bridge across a section of the ocean that has to deal with incredible ice flows and adverse weather. It’s a monument to the Canadian perseverance of “we can live here” even when nature itself says we shouldn’t.

They basically took the money VIA spent on upgrading their infrastructure years ago and now they run their freight trains on it making record profits!

US FRA is not Canadian CROR. There’s a difference.

That’s just the start of the Infrasturcture problems.
